KID’S AUDITIONS FOR CHRISTMAS AT LIFEHOUSE

We will be holding auditions for child performers to be a part of our Christmas at Lifehouse 2024 production!

AUDITION INFO

  • Sunday, August 4th at 12:30pm 

  • Hagerstown Campus CHAPEL 

Audition requirements: 

  • Children must be between the ages of 6 and 12 to audition.

  • Children must be available for all performances on the following dates: 

    • Saturday, December 14 

    • Monday, December 23 

    • Tuesday, December 24 

Parents, a few details regarding the audition: 

  • Please be prepared to stay with children when you bring them to the chapel.

  • You will be asked to fill out forms and verify some calendar dates.

If you were unable to make the August 4 audition date, please record a video of your child performing the monologue and song below (to the instrumental track) and submit it to us (instructions in link). Please submit this by SEPTEMBER 3 so that we can consider your child for this production.

ALL CHILDREN, please prepare the monologue and song linked below (we would prefer your child to have these memorized if possible): 

  • Hello? I’m not sure if I’m in the right place or not… I heard this train was going to the North Pole. I’m Billie. Are we really going to see Santa today? Have you all seen him before? I don’t know… I don’t wanna get my hopes up. I really really want to meet Santa Claus, but the thing is, I’ve never gotten a present from Santa. Not once. I want to get excited about Christmas, but… Christmas just doesn’t work out for me.

  • I’m wishing on a star and trying to believe 

    That even though it’s far, he’ll find me Christmas Eve 

    I guess that Santa’s busy ‘cause he’s never come around 

    I think of him when Christmas comes to town 

    The best time of the year when everyone comes home 

    With all this Christmas cheer it’s hard to be alone 

    Putting up the Christmas tree with friends who come around
