  1. Love is a word that is so flippantly used in our culture. Take a few minutes and discuss the various uses of the word “love” and how it directs our culture.

  2. As a Christian, how should the word love be defined and used?

  3. Find some passages from scripture that help define God’s love to us. How does that differ from what culture says love is?

  4. Obviously, one of the primary ways God showed his love for us was his sacrificial love extended to us through Jesus’ substitutionary death for us. In light of that, what should be our view of what sacrificial love look like as demonstrated today through our lives?

  5. There are some very practical ways we can demonstrate God’s love. Make a list of ways you or your group will endeavor to demonstrate God’s love in 2026.
