  1. The process of planting and harvesting is something most of us are familiar with. How does this process align itself with our understanding of living a Christian life?

  2. Read Matthew 13:3-9. Which type of soil do you feel represents your life right now? What are some things we need to do to make sure our life is good soil?

  3. In Luke 22:31, Jesus tells his disciples that Satan would like to sift them like wheat. What does this “sifting” look like in our lives, and how can that sifting affect our faith?

  4.  In John 12:24, Jesus said that a seed of wheat must die to produce the desired result. How should our lives reflect this?

  5. What does it mean to you to “deny yourself” (or die to self)? What are some things that we can do to die to self?
