Often when someone is faced with needing to change or being asked to change, they dig in their heels and resist it. Why do you think this is so often the case?
Change isn’t always easy, and it often requires us to admit we did something wrong. How can having to admit our shortcomings affect our willingness to change?
Zacchaeus was definitely a man who need a change. What circumstances in his life do you think might have led him to decide to go encounter Jesus? Why do you think those were the things that caused him to make that choice?
If God and Jesus are so willing to meet someone right where they are regardless of their life situation, why do you believe it is necessary for us to seek them to receive help for where we find ourselves?
