1. Have you ever gotten lost traveling to some location? What was your reaction? Are you the type of person who will just keep driving until you figure it out, or are you the kind who will stop at the first opportunity to ask for help? Why?

2. Saul was definitely on the path of life that he believed was correct. However, we know that God had another plan for him. How can we be on a path that seems correct even when it is contrary from what God wants for us?

3. What do you think would have happened had Saul chosen to continue to on the path he was on instead of shifting to what God told him to do?

4. Discuss for a few moments—how might the Christian world as we know it be different today had Saul continued on his original path?

5. What lesson can we learn for our own lives from Saul’s story?
