Have you ever started something and then walked away from it, leaving it incomplete or unfinished? Why? What were the circumstances surrounding the situation that caused you to leave?
How might that situation have been different if you had stayed and finished the task or seen the situation through?
Sometimes we need to walk away for the good of everyone involved, but sometimes we walk away for our own convenience. How do these two things differ?
John Mark had abandoned Paul on one of their missionary journeys, and Paul wasn’t willing to let him come back right away. However, eventually that relationship was restored and Paul counted John Mark as a valuable member of his team. What do you think occurred that changed Paul’s mind?
